At Quarry Select, ordering samples is a straightforward process. You can choose from Standard 6x6 samples which are charged at a flat rate plus shipping, or if you wish to order full-size samples you can do so at the s/f price of the material plus shipping. Full size samples are taken from the lot that will comprise your order and ensure that you get the most accurate reflection of color and quality.

We will send a confirmation e-mail for the total charge of your sample order that can be paid via Google Checkout®. Per our Return Policy, Samples cannot be returned or refunded. If you decide to purchase the stone, the cost of your samples will be credited back to you and deducted from the price of your order.

Ordering Quarry Select Products

Order Confirmation:
All product orders will be confirmed by a Quarry Select representative via e-mail or phone. Quarry Select accepts payment in the form of Credit Card or Wire Transfer. The accepted form of payment is based upon the sole discretion of Quarry Select and will be communicated to the customer prior to beginning the ordering process. The minimum order for material is the total s/f per crate and varies by product and tile size. The s/f per crate can be found on the respective product pages. Less-than pallet orders may incur a repackaging fee. If applicable, this fee will be confirmed with the customer prior to the order being placed. Please be sure to order an additional 10-15% of material to ensure adequate coverage for projects. This additional amount factors in wastage incurred from cutting tiles to fit installation areas and offsets incremental product damage. Acceptable damage to material should not exceed 2% of the total order.

Payment Process:
Once the order and method of payment have been confirmed, Quarry Select will send to the customer via e-mail or fax an Invoice outlining all charges for the order. The customer will review this invoice and confirm for acceptance. If paying by Credit Card, the customer will receive an e-mail from Quarry Select through Google Checkout®. This method allows a secure third-party format for the customer to pay. Quarry Select does not keep customer credit card information on file. If paying through wire transfer, the customer will receive transfer instructions from Quarry Select. Once payment is processed by the customer, Quarry Select will process the order for shipment. Orders are processed and prepared for shipment, typically within 3-5 business days. This timeline may vary.

Packaging of your order:
Once payment has been received by Quarry Select we will prepare your order for shipment.
The preparation of your order takes the following steps:
1. We photograph random contents of your order. If tiles, typically several pieces. If slabs, we photograph the entire slab.
2. We photograph the crate(s) and packaging of your order to ensure a high level of Quality Assurance.
3. We e-mail to the customer photographs of the material, crate, and packaging.

Shipping Policies and Procedures:
Quarry Select works with a number of reputable carriers for domestic U.S. and International Shipping of our materials and products. We work with these carriers to coordinate shipments and pass the savings of discounted shipment rates on to our customers. This service is provided at no additional charge and is optional for the customer. Customers can expect to see savings on shipment rates up to 50%. Please note, due to the discounted level of pricing for our materials with cost savings passed on to customers, Quarry Select is not responsible for the shipment of a customer's product. All pricing as listed on our website is ex-factory. If desired by the customer, Quarry Select will provide a shipping quote for material and if agreed upon by the customer, include the price of shipping in the total charge for the order. Customers have the option to purchase insurance through the carrier for their shipment. Quarry Select will be happy to obtain a quote for the cost of this insurance on behalf of the customer and if desired by the customer, include this price in the total cost of the purchase. Customers are encouraged to shop and compare shipping rates through third party sites like www.freightquote.com, www.freightz.com, www.freightNshipping.com. Quarry Select, LLC does not endorse any particular freight company. These links are provided only as a reference for our customers. If a customer chooses to coordinate his/her own shipping, Quarry Select will work with these carriers to coordinate pick-up and delivery of an order.

 Commercial orders (all Non-residential orders) will need to be unloaded by the customer at the jobsite or at the commercial loading dock. Residential orders may require special delivery instructions that can vary by carrier. Per the National Motor Freight Classification, 100-AG, Tariff 568, limitations for unloading material weighing in excess of 500 lbs, the responsibility of unloading material is that of the customer or consignee. At the request of the customer, the carrier will assist the customer with unloading. In general, carriers will deliver material as close to the project as possible in a safe flat area that allows the customer to unload the crates. In some cases, based on the discretion of the driver, the driver may assist the customer in rolling the crate to a designated spot using a pallet jack. Prior to receiving your order, please notify the carrier of your project site and any special machinery, forklift, pallet jack, etc. that may be required for delivery.

Customer to Inspect Upon Delivery & Damaged Goods Policy:
Upon receiving an order, the customer is required to inspect the material upon delivery and sign the Bill of Lading (BL) or packaging slip as an acknowledgment of receiving the material. Typically, the driver will provide a copy of the signed receipt for the customer's records. If an order has incurred damage during delivery in excess of 2% of the order, or if there is missing material, the customer needs to make a claim for damaged or missing product on the Bill of Lading or Delivery Receipt provided by the driver at the time of delivery. In the event that material arrives damaged, it is important for the customer to retain all damaged material and packaging onsite to allow for inspection of the material by an insurance adjuster. If material arrives with visible damage, it is important for the customer to contact Quarry Select immediately. If material arrives and appears to be in good condition, but concealed damage is found upon inspection, it is important to contact Quarry Select no later than three days after receiving the material. In the event of damaged or missing goods, please contact Quarry Select at 888-678-6635 and we will assist the customer and begin the claims process with the shipping company. Photographs of damaged goods, Copies of the Bill of Lading/Delivery receipt, and other related documents may be required by Quarry Select to assist in the claims process. In the event of damage during delivery, Quarry Select will assist the customer in filing and managing the claims process. It is imperative that Quarry Select is contacted no later than 3 business days after receiving the order to file a claim. It is important to note that notification after 3 days inhibits or disqualifies the ability for Quarry Select and the customer to file a claim with most carriers.

Return Policy:
Customers must notify Quarry Select within 5 business days of order delivery if they wish to return material. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee plus related shipping charges. Quarry Select will not accept returns on material that has been used in any way. This includes, but is not limited to, material that has been installed and later uninstalled or material that has been unpackaged and handled in a manner that prevents the restocking or resale of the material. Material that is returned must be packaged in the same way that it was delivered. Tiles should be placed face-to-face inside the box or foam carton before placing the carton inside the crate, whenever possible to prevent scratching or damage during shipping. Material needs to be firmly secured inside the crate or shrink-wrapped on the pallet. Samples and Special or Custom orders cannot be returned. Special or Custom orders include, but are not limited to Non-inventory items, Factory-Direct Orders, Orders that require special consideration, coordination, manufacturing, distribution, and/or handling on the part of Quarry Select. Credit or refund for returned material will be issued after the material has been returned to the original shipping location or other location, as specified by Quarry Select and inspected. As stone is a natural product with features like color and veining that vary from lot-to-lot and tile-to-tile, customers should consider these aspects prior to planning an order. These features are considered normal and are inherent to the natural properties of the stone.

Cancellation Policy:
Orders can be cancelled prior to shipment from their original location. Cancelled orders will be subject to a 5% cancellation fee. Once materials have shipped, cancelled orders will be subject to the Return Policy. Special or Custom orders cannot be cancelled.
